For our client Cult doo, we realized a complete AV production of a one-day corporate event in Split, which included a conference part and an evening event at the exclusive rooftop location of the Amphora Hotel.
The project included sound, lighting, stage and technical coordination with the aim of creating a superior visual and audio experience in line with the brand's premium identity.
Conference Segment
The daytime part of the event took place in the client’s showroom, where a conference and product presentations were held.
The focus was on delivering clean and intelligible sound, complemented by subtle yet effective lighting that enhanced the premium character of both the space and the products.
The technical execution was designed to ensure seamless communication and a comfortable experience for all attendees.
Evening Event
The evening program was hosted on the rooftop of Hotel Amphora in Split, where we designed and delivered a complete audio, lighting, and stage production.
Due to the open-air environment and proximity to surrounding buildings, one of the main challenges was achieving crystal-clear sound while maintaining controlled volume levels.
We implemented a premium Harmonic Design sound system, known for its exceptional clarity and coverage, allowing us to deliver high-quality audio without excessive loudness—making it an ideal solution for this type of location.
Lighting & Visual Identity
The lighting design required a tailored approach due to the absence of walls and ceiling structures.
To define the space and create a strong visual identity, we installed both front and rear truss systems:
- the front truss was kept minimal and discreet, providing clean illumination for speakers and performers without distracting the audience
- the rear truss featured moving head fixtures (BSW and Bee Eye), adding depth, atmosphere, and dynamic lighting effects
Additional lighting was placed along the edges of the venue to emphasize spatial structure, while entrance and service areas were highlighted using uplighting solutions to enhance the overall visual impression.
Challenges
One of the additional challenges was weather conditions, particularly strong winds, which required us to adjust the height of the truss structure and implement additional measures to ensure overall system stability.
At the same time, we continuously monitored and controlled audio levels to maintain high sound quality while avoiding potential complaints and preserving good relations with the surrounding environment.
Entertainment
The final part of the evening featured a live performance by Croatian pop star Maja Šuput, supported by a fully synchronized AV production that elevated the atmosphere and brought the entire event to a strong finish.
